How We Got Here

From a small office in Geelong to supporting thousands of event planners nationwide

The Beginning

Started pavonelystra in a shared workspace on Fenwick Street. Just three of us and a belief that event budget planning could be less painful. Our first client was a local community festival that needed help stretching their grant funding.

2019

Finding Our Method

After working with 200+ events, we developed a framework that actually worked. Not complicated spreadsheets—clear systems that helped people see where their money was going and make better decisions faster.

2021

Growing Through Challenges

The events industry got turned upside down. We adapted our approach to help clients navigate postponements, cancellations, and virtual events. Learned more about flexibility in those 18 months than the previous four years combined.

2023

Expanding Expertise

Launched specialized programs for corporate events and weddings. Brought on experienced planners who understood these sectors inside out. Started offering quarterly workshops that people actually found useful.

Where We Are Now

Team of 12 dedicated professionals supporting event planners across Australia. We've helped manage budgets for over 3,000 events and saved clients an estimated 2.8 million dollars through better planning and vendor negotiations.

Before starting pavonelystra, I spent six years managing corporate events where I watched too many good ideas die because of poor budget planning. Not complicated budgets—just unrealistic ones that nobody questioned until it was too late. I started this company because I knew there was a better way. Now our team helps hundreds of event organizers every year navigate the financial side of their projects with confidence. Still learning something new from every event we work on.
